Wow am I feeling lucky to have booked a quick trip out to Spain at the end of next week. I cannot believe that we have had snow falling, and it is so cold! This time last week I was enjoying a couple of days with my mum and my brothers, and we were basking in the Shropshire sunshine. What is happening?
I am excited to have a few days in Malaga, and particularly to go to Casarabonela and visit all the lovely people at the cooperativa, as well as our old neighbours. I am also hoping that I will be lucky enough to have a bit a sunshine while I am there.
Other news from Oxford is that Fino Global HQ is being replaced in a few weeks time. I will be sad to say goodbye to what has been my happy working space for the last 14 years, and am excited at the thought of something new, but the logistics when one only has a limited space are definitely challenging. I am trying to make sure I have enough stock, but I equally don’t want too much as at some point Global HQ will have to be emptied and everything is going to have to be moved in to the house! When it comes to it I really am praying that there will be a couple of dry days here so they will be able to go ahead as planned, and time without “my space” is kept to a minimum. The joys of working from home!
Right now there’s definitely enough stock, and the Easter bunny would be more than happy to send anything on your behalf but I will be away from 9th April so it would be great to have your orders before then – as a tempter until then you can get 10% off all of our gift packs – just enter GP10 at the checkout
COCONUT AND RED LENTIL DAHL
All I can think of when it is so chilly is eating lovely warming food. Last night we had a really yummy Coconut and Red Lentil Dahl – great comfort food, incredibly simple and hits the spot every time.
