We are finally able to tell you the happy news that our much loved 25 year aged Fino Dark Balsamic (Crema) has done it again! It has been awarded 3 STARS in the 2026 Great Taste Awards and we couldn't be more over the moon.
For those of you who don't know about the Great Taste Awards they have sometimes been described as "the Oscars of the food and drink world", so it's a big deal and worth shouting about. This is what they said to me .. "from over 15,000 entries entered into Great Taste 2026, only 1.8% products have gained a 3-star award, so this really does put your product amongst the very best tasted by the judges this year."
What is even more amazing is that this is the 4th time our Dark Balsamic (Crema) has been awarded 3 STARS!!!
I love reading what the judges said ... "The vinegar has a thick, pourable consistency, gorgeous dark caramel colour and the fruitiness of the Pedro Ximenez grapes comes through strongly on the palate, adding such interest. The mouthfeel of the vinegar is just right. The balance of sweetness and acidity is perfect, a super example of its kind".
