It’s my birthday next week but it came early! This year’s Great Taste Award results were announced on Tuesday and I was so delighted that our Dark Balsamic (Crema) has been awarded 3 STARS!! Many of you have been loyal customers for years and already know and love it – when I first came across it in 2010 I knew it was pretty special, but to have this seal of approval from Great Taste (for the third time in 10 years) is a great reason to smile. I am extremely happy with my early birthday present.

Wow! Thick, luxurious, fruity, sweet, acidic deliciousness! The judges could have drunk the whole bottle. It was almost like sherry. Wonderful!
Everything that you could desire from a PX vinegar is here. From the viscosity and powerful, deep, abrasive nose to the extraordinary evolution of flavours. Fruit, caramels, coffee just for starters. The more you dig around in it, the more it yields on the palate. A perfect delight.
Plenty of complexity on the palate. Raisins, dates and prune molasses - so much depth of flavour. Glaze-like but runnier. Enveloping texture. Outstanding.
