When I’m not working, or walking my doggies, I love being creative – I’ve always got a project on the go, and find it so satisfying making or upcycling something, or even just changing things around at home – it’s definitely something in my genes – mummy is just the same! It was very simple to make but this ‘sign’ was always makes me smile. I made another one too (Spanish of course) which sits above Rupert’s beloved record player!
The last few weeks seem to have been taken up with lots of admin, sorting, and bottling – it’s that time of year, but now my fair schedule for the year is beginning to come together, I have bottles, tins and jars on the shelves, and more olive oil on the way from Spain too – for the moment I feel in control which is a nice place to be, so I am set and ready for your orders! As a prompt, get 10% off until the end of this weekend by entering SETANDREADY at checkout. I’m looking forward to the orders flooding in!
I had lunch with a great friend earlier this week and she had made the most delicious Tomato & Basil Tart. It was so good that yesterday I decided to do it too. Like all my favourite recipes it is a super simple one – very few ingredients and really quick to make, but really delicious. One thing to note is the longer you leave it to cook at a low temperature the more the flavour of the tomatoes intensifies. It is yum!
Happy weekend and happy shopping
