Arrope (or El Secreto del Chef as it is known in Spain) is a thick, sweet Spanish grape syrup produced from the unfermented juice of the Pedro Ximenez grape. Our Fino Arrope, a 2013 Great Taste Award winner is fab as a sweet dressing mixed with Fino Olive Oil and it makes a great addition to sauces and marinades. A firm favourite in our house is dipping delicious bread into Arrope mixed with Fino Chilli Oil. The grape equivalent of a pomegranate molasses, it is also very special drizzled on ice cream, or stirred into porridge or yogurt.
